Sony has announced the Xperia Tablet Z2, the successor to last year’s Xperia Tablet Z1. With a thickness of just 6.4mm, the Xperia Tablet 2 features a 10.1-inch Triluminous WUXGA (1920×1200 pixels) display. Powering it is a 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 SoC with 3GB of RAM. On the photography front, it gets an 8-megapixel primary shooter and a 2.2-megapixel front camera.
The Xperia Tablet 2 houses a 6,000mAh battery. It will run Android 4.4 Kitkat out of the box. All this makes the tablet quite powerful, apart from being the slimmest waterproof tablet, that is. It also gets S-Force Surround Sound and Digital Noise Cancelling.
Much like the Xperia Z2 phone, the Xperia Tablet Z2 will be out in March too.
