Here, at the Mobile World Congress, Sony has announced its new flagship phone, the Xperia Z2 aka ‘Sirius’. The Xperia Z2 carries forward the design language of its predecessor (the Xperia Z1).
It sports a 5.2-inch full-HD (1920×1080 pixels) display, a 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, 3 GB of RAM and a 3,200mAh battery. The camera too is a 20.7-megapixel unit as expected, and is capable of shooting 4K videos. The flagship Sony also gets USB DAC support, Noise Cancellation, and like the previous top-spec Sony, this one too is resistant to water and dust. Storage options include 16GB of internal memory and expansion with the help of a microSD card slot.
Sony says the phone will be available in March world-wide.
