Samsung will finally announce the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ flagship smartphones. The new flagships are expected to be iterative updates and will bring little in terms of refresh to the table. The leaks so far have left little to the imagination but we will leave it to Samsung to tell us what it sees as the ‘reimagined smartphone’ for 2018.
With Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+, Samsung is promising a reimagined camera, which is a clear dig at the superior camera on Google Pixel 2 and Apple iPhone X. Samsung is definitely going after big guns here and the flagship smartphones are all about cameras these days. In addition, the Galaxy S9 duo will also have the fingerprint sensor at the place where it should have been last year. We are not expecting major design change but specifications will be truly flagship, with leaks suggesting it will be the fastest Android smartphone.
