Nokia recently revealed its latest lineup of affordable smartphones and now the company has revealed that its low cost Nokia 2 smartphone will be receiving the Android 8.1 Oreo update sometime in June. HMD Global had announced last month that its Nokia 2 smartphone will be directly updated to the latest Android version.
According to the company this is set to be the last Nokia device that will be receiving the Android Oreo update. The other devices will be receiving Android OS updates as and when Google keeps updating.
HMD Global has launched a trio of smartphones – Nokia 5.1, Nokia 3.1 and Nokia 2.1 – at an event that was held in Russia last evening.
