HMD Global is reportedly working on two more Nokia smartphones – Nokia 2 and 8. The Nokia 8 is touted to be the company’s flagship smartphone, and could be launched on August 16. As for the Nokia 2, four variants of the entry-level smartphone have been spotted on the FCC’s website. The Nokia 2, judging by its name, will possibly be the cheapest offering by HMD Global. The lowest variant available right now is the Nokia 3, which is priced at Rs 9,499.
The FCC listing (spotted by The Leaker) shows four variants of the Nokia 2 with model numbers TA-1007, TA-1023, TA-1029, and TA-1035. The FCC listing doesn’t reveal any other information other than the model numbers. The smartphone has however been leaked in the past with its specifications and design language. Going by the leaks, the Nokia 2 will possibly come without a home button unlike the existing Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6.
The front camera lens is placed on the right. Similar to the other Nokia smartphones, the rear camera lens and LED flash are both placed vertically and Nokia written below. A speaker is visible on the bottom right corner, and the bottom edge houses what looks like a USB Type-C port. ALSO READ: Nokia 8 may have been revealed in International Cat Day video
