HMD Global launched the Nokia 5 smartphone in June this year. The variant with 16GB storage and 2GB of RAM is priced at Rs 12,499. Now, the company has launched a new variant of the Nokia 5 with 32GB internal storage and 3GB of RAM. The variant is priced at Rs 13,499, and it will go on sale exclusively via Flipkart for a week followed by availability in select retail outlets starting November 14. The phone will be available starting November 7, and buyers will be able to choose from two color options – Matte Black and Tempered Blue.
The Nokia 5 features a unibody metal design. The phone’s rear features a camera and flash placed in a cylindrical strip, while the right side has the power and volume buttons. The left side has separate slots for both SIMs, and expandable storage. The bottom of the phone has the micro-USB port and speaker grille, while the top has the 3.5mm jack. The antenna lines run along the top and bottom of the phone.

Keeping the Nokia 5 ticking is a 3,000mAh battery, with a USB Type-C port for charging. Connectivity options include dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth. HMD Global has also promised that along with the Nokia 3, Nokia 6, and Nokia 8, the Nokia 5 will also get Android Oreo update by end of the year. To put things into perspective, the Nokia 5 sits between the Nokia 3 and Nokia 6, with the two devices priced at Rs 9,499 and Rs 14,999 respectively.
