HMD Global may be planning to launch the Nokia 6.1 Plus in the Indian market around the month of August or September. The company launched the device under the Nokia X6 name more than two months, back in May in the Chinese market. As previously reported, the company is planning to launch the device in Taiwan on July 19. It is likely that the company may launch the device in Russia after the Taiwanese launch as the device passed the certification in the country. According to a report by NokiaPowerUser, it looks like that the company is working out to bring the device to India and has not finalized the launch date.

The report goes on to point out that HMD Global will launch the device in the Malaysian market in August and it is not expected to “arrive before” August in India. This means that it is likely that the launch event may not take place before September. We have already seen the support pages for the X6 on the Nokia Mobiles India website to reveal that the company is actively working towards the launch.
