HMD Global launched the Nokia X6 smartphone in China back in May. Now it seems, the Finnish company is close to launching a rebranded version of the same smartphone in international markets.
The Nokia X6 will be rebranded as Nokia 6.1 Plus, which has been confirmed via a Geekbench listing. As reported before, the Nokia 6.1 Plus will first be launched in Hong Kong on July 19. A wider rollout is expected soon after.

In the photography department, the Nokia smartphone is equipped with a dual-camera setup that includes 16-megapixel and 5-megapixel sensors. For selfies, there’s a 16-megapixel sensor up front. The smartphone comes with 64GB of expandable internal memory, and is backed by a 3,060mAh battery. On the software front, the device runs Android 8.1.0 Oreo out-of-the-box.
In China, the Nokia X6 was launched with a price tag of RMB 1,299 that is approximately Rs 13,300. When launched in India, HMD Global is likely to price the Nokia 6.1 Plus around the same range. This would place it below the Nokia 6.1, which is priced at Rs 18,999 in India.
