Earlier this week, HMD Global launched a trio of Nokia smartphones in India, including the Nokia 6 (2018). The Finnish company launched the 32GB+3GB RAM variant of the new Nokia 6, and turns out it could be launching a new variant soon.
At MWC 2018, HMD Global unveiled the 32GB variant of the Nokia 6 (2018). It also announced that a new variant with 64GB storage and 4GB RAM would soon be unveiled. According to NPU, this variant will be launched in India as early as next week.
The 32GB variant of the Nokia 6 (2018) is currently available in India with a price tag of Rs 16,999. It can be bought off the Nokia Mobile Shop or select mobile outlets including Sangeetha Mobiles, Poorvika Mobiles, Big C, Croma and Reliance Digital. According to the report, the 64GB storage variant of the new smartphone will be launched with a price tag of Rs 18,999.
Nokia 6 (2018) specifications, features
Apart from the bump in storage and RAM, the two Nokia 6 (2018) variants share the same set of specifications and features. So essentially, you get a 5.5-inch full HD (1920×1080 pixels) display, and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 630 octa-core SoC paired with Adreno 508 GPU.
For photography, the smartphone features a 16-megapixel primary camera with Carl Zeiss optics, f/2.0 aperture, phase detection autofocus, and dual-LED flash. There is also an 8-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture, autofocus, and 1080p video recording.
There is a fingerprint sensor for security, and the device is backed by a 3,000mAh battery with support for fast charging. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, FM Radio, and 4G LTE. On the software front, the smartphone runs stock Android 8.0 Oreo.

Apart from the Nokia 6 (2018), HMD Global also launched the Nokia 7 Plus and the top-end Nokia 8 Sirocco in India. They are priced at Rs 25,999, and Rs 49,999 respectively. Both smartphones will be going on sale from April 30, with pre-orders kicking off on April 20.
