The Nokia 7 Plus was launched in India last month. At the time, the phone was missing 4G LTE support on the second SIM slot. However, HMD had promised that it will be adding that support later, with the help of an OTA update. Today, the company is delivering on that promise.
The new update is called V2.22A and along with 4G LTE support, it also carries some other features including, better system stability and some tweaks to the user interface. Google’s security patch for May 2018 is also included. That said, it is missing the Face Unlock feature that was also promised during the launch of the smartphone. Hopefully, that will come with the next update. People using the Nokia 7 Plus should be receiving the update as we speak. Based on an image from Fonearena, the update is 441MB in size, so we recommend doing it on a Wi-Fi network.
