Nokia Lumia 520 to be available in India from April 6 for Rs 10,499

Nokia announced the Lumia 520 as the most affordable Windows Phone 8 device in the market in india last month and put it up for pre-orders on its Nokia India Store a week later. Today the Finnish company has announced that the phone will be available in stores starting April 6.

To recap, the Nokia Lumia 520 sports a 4-inch WVGA IPS display that comes with the super-sensitive mode which allows users to use the touchscreen while wearing gloves or with their fingernails. The Lumia 520 is powered by a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Plus dual-core processor and 512MB of RAM and includes features like a 5-megapixel rear camera that can shoot videos at 720p, 8GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot and a 1,430mAH battery.

Like all other Nokia Lumia phones, the Lumia 520 too will come preloaded with Nokia exclusive Windows Phones apps like Nokia Drive, Mix Radio, CityLens, and many more. As an introductory offer, Nokia is also offering free 1GB of 3G data every month to RCom subscribers for the first two months along with unlimited Facebook and WhatsApp usage during the same period.
