Back in November, OnePlus launched a ‘Lava Red’ color variant of the OnePlus 5T in China. Now, the company has been teasing a new launch on Twitter scheduled for January 11 in India. The Twitter teaser hence confirms that the OnePlus 5T Lava Red variant is coming to India. The smartphone will have the same features as the existing model, with just a different color scheme.
The special edition comes with a rear panel soaked in a deep shade of red with the dual-camera unit highlighted in black. Up front, the display remains surrounded by black. Launched in November with an upgraded display and bezel-less design, the OnePlus 5T is offered only in Midnight Black color variant in India in its standard edition. OnePlus added a new variant in the form of ‘Star Wars Limited Edition’ model with the Star Wars movie theme and white back panel last month.
The pricing and availability of the new variant are not yet known, however, reports suggest that the smartphone will carry the same price tag as that of the midnight black variant.
