Just a day before the global launch of the much anticipated OnePlus 6, OnePlus CEO Pete Lau has posted more camera samples on the internet. Lau took to his official Weibo account to give us hit of what we can expect from the upcoming flagship. He posted four images that vary considerably in terms of the location and lighting conditions. The caption of the post says “What do you guys say about OnePlus 6?” as Lau asks users about the quality of images posted.
The images posted show an impressive dynamic range for the camera as no part of the image was overexposed or blown out. The darker portions of the images had details and were not clipped out. The low light shot that Lau posted did contain some noise and a weird pattern in the sky which we could attribute to digital compression. However, the sharpness of rest of the image was on point.
Though regardless of the image samples, we will reserve our judgment until the time we get the device and give it a spin.
