OnePlus 6 water resistance, camera samples teased
OnePlus is gearing up to launch the OnePlus 6 smartphone and in run up to the launch, the company has started teasing different aspects of the smartphone. We already know that the smartphone will come with a display notch, and will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC.
Now, of the latest teaser is to be believed, the OnePlus 6 will finally come with water and dust resistant capabilities. There is no word on whether it will be IP67 or IP68 compliant, but having the feature will be a big welcome by fans. Besides teasing the water resistance feature, the company CEO has also shared camera samples shot on the OnePlus 6 in day light, and it seems like the upcoming smartphone will be getting some camera improvements in tow.

E-commerce giant Flipkart and Taiwanese and PC maker has announced a strategic partnership to launch Indian consumer-oriented products. Under the partnership, Flipkart will exclusively sell Asus smartphones. The company also announced launch of its upcoming smartphone, the Zenfone Max Pro on April 23. Details af the smartphone are scarce at the moment, but it will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 octa-core SoC. Flipkart also mentioned that it is eying 40 percent smartphone market share.
Moto G6 design teased
Ahead of the official launch of the Moto G6-series on April 19, Motorola UK has teased the smartphone in a Twitter video. The video shows off glass back design with curved edges, metal frame, dual cameras at the back and front-facing fingerprint scanner, located just below the display.
Facebook testing digital payments on Messenger
After WhatsApp, Facebook is looking to introduce digital payments in its Messenger app. India being world’s second largest market with a number of internet users, it makes sense for the company to bring digital payments to the platform. According to a report on FactorDaily, the social media giant has launched the beta version that allows users to make mobile phone and other recharge payments. The report also states that peer-to-peer payments will also be supported going forward.
Xiaomi Redmi S2 leaked
Xiaomi is all set to launch the Mi A2 (or Mi 6X) in China, and the smartphone will be launched in India as well. But a new report states that Xiaomi is also working on another smartphone called Redmi S2, which will be a budget smartphone focused on the Indian market.
Among the highlights, it is expected to sport a 5.7-inch 18:9 HD+ display and sport dual cameras at the back. It is also rumored to come with face unlock feature.
