The OnePlus 6 has been actively in the news for the last few weeks, and it seems we’ll be seeing leaks and reveals for a while longer. The phone will be launched in London on May 16, and BGR India will be on the scene to cover the launch event. We’ll also be bringing you full coverage on the smartphone, including our first impressions and review, over the coming days.
For now though, the latest leak comes from Geekbench, the benchmarking service for smartphones. According to a new Geekbench listing, a few specifications have been revealed, as well as the model number of the coming phone. The OnePlus A6003 results were generated on May 7, with a single-core score of 2402 and a multi-core score of 8931. These are roughly in line with what we’d expect from a device powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC.
Apart from this, the listing also mentions the motherboard (chipset) of the phone as the Qualcomm SDM845 (which is the code name for the Snapdragon 845) and shows a RAM listing of 8GB. These are fairly accurate with what we can already expect from the phone, which means that the benchmark score has almost certainly been generated on an early unit of the device.

OnePlus 6 Specifications and features
Apart from the information already known about the chipset and RAM, the OnePlus 6 will also come with a 6-inch notched display, like the Apple iPhone X. The device is also expected to be IP68 water-resistant, and will have a glass back and dual-camera setup at the rear. The phone was shown off today in a now-deleted tweet by Indian actor Amitabh Bachchan, showing it in two color variants – black and white. Apart from this, there will also be an Avengers: Infinity War special edition of the phone, which is expected to be launched in India on May 17.
OnePlus also opened sales of fan tickets for the launch event on May 17 in Mumbai, which included goodies such as an Avengers: Infinity War t-shirt, a OnePlus voucher worth Rs 999 and more. The limited tickets were sold out in four minutes, and fans that have succeeded in buying the tickets will be able to attend the launch event and will have an early chance to buy the new smartphone too.
