OnePlus’ Fast AF (Fast and First) sale is now live on Amazon India, its e-commerce partner. The sale gives potential OnePlus 6 buyers an opportunity to be the first one to own the smartphone. As part of its Summer Sale, the e-commerce giant is also selling OnePlus 6 e-Gift card vouchers worth Rs 1,000 from Sunday, May 13 through Wednesday, May 16.

The offer allows those interested in OnePlus 6 to pre-book the smartphone and earn a cashback of Rs 1,000 when they purchase it. On its website, Amazon India notes that OnePlus 6 buyers can get Rs 1,000 back as Amazon Pay balance and three months extended warranty. Those interested need to purchase the OnePlus 6 on May 21 when the smartphone becomes available as part of Prime Early Access or on May 22 during the regular sale.

In order to avail the cashback offer, potential OnePlus 6 buyers will need to head to the Amazon India Fast AF sale page. Once on the page, users need to click on the ‘Shop Now’ button and select the Rs 1,000 denomination for the gift card and purchase the same before May 16. Once you receive the gift card on your registered email address, you can avail the same when you purchase the OnePlus 6 on May 21 or May 22.

Amazon says the cashback will be credited to the customers account latest by May 25 while the extended warranty will reflected on their smartphone by June 30. This gift card also ensures that you will be able to buy the smartphone during the first two days it becomes available for purchase online. OnePlus 6 will be officially announced at an event in London on May 16. The global launch will be followed by country-specific launch events in China and India on May 17. In India, the launch is scheduled to take place at 3PM in Mumbai.

OnePlus 6 is expected to be one of the most premium smartphone from the Chinese startup yet. The company has already confirmed that it will switch from all metal unibody design in the past to a metal and glass sandwich design. The leaks so far suggest that it will feature a 6.28-inch display with a notch surrounding the front camera and microphone. The design is expected to be similar to that of Oppo R15 and R15 Dream Mirror Edition smartphones.

The OnePlus 6 will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC coupled with 6GB or 8GB of RAM and option for either 64GB or 128GB or 256GB storage. It now feature a vertically stacked dual rear camera setup similar to that of Samsung Galaxy S9+. There is no clarity on what camera changes OnePlus plans to offer this year. OnePlus 6 needs a really good camera especially when its immediate rivals Xiaomi and Huawei have leapfrogged in the camera department.

OnePlus 6 leaked in the form of render yesterday revealing the “Mirror Black” finish of the smartphone. An image posted by veteran Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan also showed that the smartphone could be offered in a white variant as well. We will know what OnePlus has in store tomorrow.
