Oppo will soon join the league of edge-to-edge display smartphones. Successor to the Oppo F3, the Oppo F5 will be the next selfie-centric smartphone but with an almost bezel-less design. Prior to its launch, the smartphone is currently being promoted in the Philippines. A new campaign video now shows the Oppo F5. The smartphone is due to launch on October 26 in Manila.
In a video shared by ABS-CBN Lifestyle (via GSMArena), the Oppo F5 is seen in black color with its front and back panel revealed. Judging by the look, the Oppo F5 has a tall display like the Galaxy S8 with almost no bezels on the sides. The top and bottom bezels are comparatively thin too with the dual front cameras visible on top. There is no home button up front, which is something new for an Oppo smartphone. At the rear, the camera lens is placed on the top-left corner with a circular fingerprint sensor at the center.
The video further shows the volume rocker placed on the left and the power key on the right. In terms of design, the Oppo F5 does look different from the other smartphones in its series. However, it’s hard to ignore the similarity of the front panel with that of the Galaxy S8. ALSO READ: Oppo F3 Diwali Limited Edition launched in India: Price, specifications and features
