Oppo Find 7 with QHD display launched in India, priced at Rs 37,990: Specifications, features and comparison

Oppo today launched the Find 7 smartphone in India, to cater to those looking for a smartphone which boasts high-end specifications but falls in mid-range segment. The Find 7 has been priced at Rs 37,990 and will be available from next month.

Talking of the specifications, the Find 7 is the first phone to flaunt a 5.5-inch QHD display with 1440×2560 pixels resolution and pixel density of 534ppi. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass 3. The phone is powered by a 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 quad-core chipset with Adreno 330 GPU and a massive 3GB of RAM. On the memory front, it has 32GB internal storage that can be expanded by up to 128GB using a microSD card.

The phone sports a 13-megapixel rear snapper which comes with a Sony IMX214 CMOS chip and f/2 lens and can record videos at 4K resolutions. It also features a number of other camera modes including Super Zoom, which essentially clicks 10 photos and merges them into a single 50-megapixel image.

Also included in the phone is a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, a 3,000mAh battery and connectivity options like 3G network support, NFC, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS/AGPS. The Find 7 runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean based ColorOS 1.2 and come with a number of additional apps and software tweaks.

With specs like a QHD display, a Snapdragon 801 Chipset and a lot more, the phone will be up against the likes of LG’s flagship G3 smartphone, which has not been priced as yet but will be placed in the premium range. Also in competition are other flagship devices like the HTC One (M8), Sony Xperia Z2 and the Samsung Galaxy S5.
