Oppo R11s has been partially revealed by the company itself through a listing on the official website. The official launch of the smartphone is scheduled for November 2. However, thanks to the trove of past leaks and the newest detail from Oppo, there’s little that we are unaware of.
While past leaks have tried to picture the smartphone in entirety, details emerging from the official website carry more weight. The company has not revealed all the specifications to retain some surprise. Based on the listing, the Oppo R11s will be available in color choices of red, black, and champagne. There is only one configuration of 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. One of the talking points of the smartphone is that it joins the list of phones with 18:9 aspect ratio screens.
The second important feature of the smartphone is the dual-camera module at the back. It features a combination of 20-megapixel + 16-megapixel sensors with f/1.7 aperture for DSLR-like effects in photos. The listing also mentions a 20-megapixel sensor on the front with AI support for enhanced selfies. ALSO READ: Oppo gets government approval for setting up single-brand retail stores in India
Details about chipset, battery capacity, OS, and display resolution are scarce on the website. However, if past leaks are anything to go by then Oppo R11s will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 64-bit octa-core SoC, and feature a 6-inch full HD+ (2160×1080 pixels) display.
On the connectivity front, the smartphone will support 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS. Armed with a 3,205mAh battery with VOOC Flash Charging, the Oppo R11s is said to run Android 7.1.1 Nougat out-of-the-box.
