Panasonic launches P11, T21, and T11 smartphones priced below Rs 16,500 in India
A few months after the launch of P51, Panasonic today has launched three new smartphones namely the P11, the T21, and the T11 in India. These Android smartphones are launched to cater to those looking forward to buy a low-end or mid-range smartphone, and thus are priced between Rs 9,700 and Rs 16,500.
In terms of features, the P11 has a 5-inch HD IPS display with 720p, is powered by a 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage and external memory support via a microSD card. It runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and features an 8-megapixel auto-focus rear camera with LED flash and a 1.3-megapixel front camera. Also, it supports dual-SIM, 3G,Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth, and offers sensors like accelerometer, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor. It is the most expensive smartphone in the lot and is priced for Rs 16,490.
The T11 comes with a 4-inch WVGA display with 480X800 pixels resolution, packs in a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage and 32GB of external memory support via microSD card. It runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Also, the Panasonic T11 features a 5-megapixel rear camera with flash and a VGA front-facing camera, and supports dual-SIM, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS, and comes with accelerometer, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor. With these features the phone will be up against the still unannounced Samsung Galaxy Trend Duos smartphone which also comes with a 4-inch WVGA display but has a dual-core processor, with 512MB of RAM, a 3-megapixel rear camera and lacks a front camera. It costs Rs 9,790.
The mid-ranger, Panasonic T21, comes with a 4.5-inch HD IPS display with 1280×720 pixels resolution. However, unlike the other two it features a Broadcom 28145 processor with dual-core clocked at 1.2GHz and 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal memory and up to 32GB of external memory. The phone also runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean version, and sports an 8-megapixel auto-focus rear camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. The dual-SIM phone comes with support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and 3G. It is launched Rs 13,990.
