Pantel T-Pad WS708C with 3G and Android Jelly Bean launched in India for Rs 6,999

Pantel Technologies in partnership with BSNL has announced yet another tablet in the Indian market. The dual-SIM enabled Penta T-Pad WS708C supports 3G and comes with a 7-inch display and is been launched at a competitive price of Rs 6,999.

Unlike the recently released Penta T-Pad WS702, the device comes with a slightly low grade configuration in terms of screen resolution, processor and RAM. It features a Cortex A9 1GHz processor with Mali 400 3D Accelerator GPU and offers a resolution of 800×400 pixels. As far as the memory goes, it carries a 512MB DDR III RAM with 4GB of internal storage, which can be expanded by up to 32GB using microSD card.

There is Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) operating system running under the hood. Other features include a 2-megapixel rear camera and 0.3-megapixel front camera, a 3000mAh battery, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and HDMI port.

The tablet can be purchased with special data plans offered by the BSNL.

    Cost is much less but not sure for the technology. Can you please confirm about the Penta company? Is it good to use?
