Photos of alleged iPhone 5 assembled from parts emerge, show two-toned rear
Either someone is making a killing selling off fake iPhone 5 casings and parts or Apple’s next iPhone has indeed been leaked. This is not the first time we are seeing what has been claimed to be the iPhone 5 with a metallic two-toned rear panel and a taller display. However, unlike earlier leaks, this time it comes from a repair shop called iLab, which has managed to assemble the alleged iPhone 5 along with some internal parts.
The latest photographs also show a taller display, a smaller 19-pin connector, the headphone jack on the bottom and a front-facing camera repositioned above the earpiece. Most of the earlier rumors about the iPhone 5 point to the same details. But one can never be sure with Apple, which is known to have multiple prototypes doing the rounds till very close to mass production and this could very well be one of the prototype designs.
Rumors about the iPhone 5 have taken its toll on the sale of current generation iPhone as buyers seem to be waiting for Apple to launch a new version pretty soon.
