VPNs (virtual private networks) are used by a lot of people as online privacy tools. It helps internet users from hiding their location, while also allowing them to access services that are restricted in their country or region. Now we’ve learnt that Pornhub has launched its own VPN service called VPNhub. The service promises to offer free and unlimited bandwidth to all its users.

The service is available on almost all platforms including Android, iOS, MacOS, and Windows. It carries about 1000 servers across 15 countries and promises not to log user data at any point. The service will be available in many countries except for the ones that do not do business with U.S. and that includes North Korea, Myanmar, Iran, Cuba, Sudan, and Syria.

In a statement to The Verge, Pornhub’s VP Corey Price said, “Incognito browsers don’t offer enough cover from prying eyes, especially if users are still browsing on public Wi-Fi networks, so the VPN will provide an added layer of security and privacy.”  Beside this, launching a VPN service also makes sense for the adult entertainment website, as pornography is blocked in a lot of countries.

The subscription allows users to choose the server from a range of countries and their cities. The list includes, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Japan, Singapore, UK, and U.S.. The free service only gives access to the nearest server.
