Earlier this month, we reported that Sony was readying a new flagship device codenamed Sirius, which it will unveil at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona next month. Now the first purported photos of the Sirius prototype has surfaced online courtesy of XDA forum member iRimas.
According to iRimas, this device is identified by the code D6503 and is slimmer than the Xperia Z1. It follows the similar design language, with the glass body and metal frame and at first glance can be mistaken for an Xperia Z1. There is no way of commenting on the authenticity of the above photos and we would advise you to take it with the proverbial pinch of salt.
From what we know so far, the Sirius will sport 5.2-inch 2,560×1,440 pixels display, and feature Qualcomm’s MSM8974AB SoC, 3GB RAM, 20.7-megapixel rear camera with Sony’s G Lens, a 3,500mAh battery and would probably run on Android 4.4 KitKat.
