It’s been reported before that Samsung is working on a premium smartphone, dubbed Galaxy A9 Star. Now, an alleged poster (shared by Slashleaks) has surfaced online claiming that Samsung will launch the smartphone on June 7. What’s more, there could be one more smartphone that could be unveiled.
The poster mentions the Galaxy A9 Star, as well as another device dubbed Galaxy A9 Star Lite. Both devices are likely to share the same design language, and the Lite version could feature a set of toned down specifications and features.
An alleged hands-on video of the Galaxy A9 Star had surfaced online yesterday. The device in the video seemed like a wider and taller version of the flagship Galaxy S9+. The front is dominated by the edge-to-edge display, but without the notch. At the back is a vertically aligned dual-camera setup. Previous rumors claim this setup will include a combination of 24-megapixel and 16-megapixel sensors.
