Samsung Galaxy Ace NXT available in India, priced at Rs 7,399


Samsung is close to launching a new entry-level smartphone in India called Galaxy Ace NXT. Ahead of an official launch, the smartphone is available at mobile retailer Mahesh Telecom for Rs 7,399.

The Galaxy Ace NXT bears the model number SM-G313H, and features a 4-inch WVGA (800×480 pixels) display, 1.2GHz single-core processor, 3-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, and a 1,500mAh battery. Connectivity options include dual-SIM card slots, 3G support, and GPS.

There is currently no word on when Samsung plans on officially launching the device in India.

Last month, Samsung announced four new affordable Android KitKat smartphones namely the Galaxy Core II, Galaxy Ace 4, Galaxy Young 2, and Galaxy Star 2. According to the retailer, these smartphones too will soon be launched in India.

Starting with the Galaxy Star 2, it features a 3.5-inch HGVA TFT display, 1GHz single-core processor, 512MB of RAM, 2-megapixel fixed focus camera, 4GB expandable memory, and a 1,300mAh battery. Just above is the Galaxy Young 2, which has the same features, albeit with a better 3-megapixel fixed focus camera.

The Galaxy Ace 4, which features a 4-inch WVGA display, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 5-megapixel rear camera, VGA front-facing camera, 4GB of expandable internal memory, a 1,800mAh battery.

The Galaxy Core II, on the other hand, features a 4.5-inch WVGA display, 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 768MB of RAM, 5-megapixel rear camera, VGA front-facing camera, 4GB internal storage that can be expanded up to 32GB using a microSD card, and a 2,000mAh battery.
