Samsung may have launched the Galaxy S 4, but that hasn’t stopped the South Korean company from working on other phones. According to Russian website Hi-Tech, Samsung is set to launch a mid-range device called the Galaxy Core (GT-I8262) in the coming days.
According to the specifications mentioned in the report, the Dual-SIM Galaxy Core seems to sport a 4.3-inch WVGA (800×480 pixels) display and a 1.2-GHz dual-core processor and 768MB of RAM. The phone is also reported to feature a 5-megapixel rear camera, 8GB of internal storage which can be expanded using a microSD card and includes connectivity options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. On the software side of things the device is said to run on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
The report claims that the Galaxy Core will be launched in countries like Russia and China sometime next month and will be available for around €320 (Rs 22,500 approximately). There is currently no word though on if this device will come to India.
