Samsung Galaxy J6 64GB variant price in India slashed, now available for Rs 15,990

The Galaxy J6 was launched in May at Rs 16,490 for the 64GB storage variant.

In late May, Samsung launched the Galaxy J6 and Galaxy J8 smartphones in India, along with the Galaxy A6 and Galaxy A6+. The Samsung Galaxy J6 is offered in two variants 3GB RAM with 32GB onboard storage for Rs 13,990, and 4GB RAM with 64GB storage for Rs 16,490. Now, the Galaxy J6 64GB variant price in India has been slashed by Rs 500, and it is now available for Rs 15,990.

Mumbai based smartphone vendor Mahesh Telecom first tweeted about the price cut, and at the time of filing the story, the revised price is visible on Samsung s online store too. ICICI Bank credit and debit card users can get Rs 1,500 discount on the Galaxy J6, which brings down the cost to Rs 11,490 and Rs 13,490 for the 32GB and 64GB variants, respectively. The same cashback offer is also applicable on purchases made using Paytm Mall. That s not all, Samsung is also offering one-time screen replacement along with the smartphone for free.

Samsung Galaxy J6 specifications and features

The Samsung Galaxy J6 features a 5.6-inch HD+ (1480 720 pixels) Super AMOLED display with 18.5:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood is an Exynos 7870 SoC paired with 3GB RAM with 32GB storage, or 4GB RAM with 64GB storage options.

In the photography department, it comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, and an 8-megapixel front camera with LED flash. To keep things ticking is a 3,000mAh battery, and connectivity options include dual SIM card slots, Bluetooth, GPS, Wi-Fi and 4G LTE with VoLTE. In the software department, the smartphone runs on Android 8.0 Oreo with Samsung Experience UI on top.
