Samsung launched four new smartphones in India, two in the Galaxy J-series – the J6 and J8, and two in the Galaxy A-series – the A6 and A6+. Out of these four smartphones, the Galaxy J6, the Galaxy A6 and the Galaxy A6+ are going on sale today, and the Galaxy J8 will go on sale a little later, on June 20.
All four smartphones feature the Infinity Display with Super AMOLED panel, and an aspect ratio of 18.5:9. Samsung has also included Dolby Atmos audio enhancement, Chat over Video feature that lets you reply to chats without having to pause the video. Running on Android 8.0 Oreo, the smartphones also feature face recognition feature to quickly unlock your smartphone.
Samsung Galaxy J6, A6 and A6+ price in India, launch offers
The Galaxy J6 is offered in two variants – the one with 32GB onboard storage is priced at Rs 13,990 whereas the one with 64GB storage is priced at Rs 16,490. Customers buying from Paytm Mall or using ICICI bank credit cards will be eligible for a cash back of Rs 1,500, which will bring down the price of base variant to Rs 12,490, whereas the 64GB variant will be priced at Rs 14,990.
The Galaxy A6, on the other hand, is priced at Rs 21,990 for 32GB storage variant, and Rs 22,990 for the 64GB storage variant. The Paytm and ICICI bank credit card cash back of Rs 3,000 is also applicable here, which brings down the cost of base variant to Rs 18,990, and the cost of 64GB variant to Rs 19,990. The Galaxy A6+, on the other hand, will set you back by Rs 25,990, and after cash back, the price comes down to Rs 22,990. The smartphones will be available to purchase from Flipkart, Paytm Mall and retail shops across India.

Samsung Galaxy J6 specifications and features
The Samsung Galaxy J6 features a 5.6-inch HD+ (1480×720 pixels) display. It is powered by an Exynos 7870 SoC paired with 3GB RAM with 32GB storage, and 4GB RAM with 64GB storage options. The smartphone comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera, an 8-megapixel front camera with LED flash. And to keep things ticking, it comes with a 3,000mAh battery.
Samsung Galaxy A6, Galaxy A6+ specifications and features
The Galaxy A6 features a 5.6-inch HD+ display (720x1480pixels), whereas the Galaxy A6+ comes with a larger 6-inch screen (1080×2220pixels). While the A6 is powered by an Exynos 7870 SoC, the A6+ is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC. The A6 comes in two variants, 3GB RAM and 32GB storage, or 4GB RAM with 64GB of internal storage, whereas the A6+ only comes in one variant – 4GB RAM with 64GB. In the photography department, the Galaxy A6 is equipped with a 16-megapixel f/1.7 aperture rear camera, and a 16-megapixel f/1.9 front aperture camera with an LED flash. It is fuelled by a 3,000mAh battery.
The Galaxy A6+, on the other hand, comes with a dual-camera setup – a combination of 16-megapixel f/1.7 sensor and 5-megapixel f/1.9 sensor. Up front, there’s a 24-megapixel f/1.9 sensor with a dedicated LED flash. It is fueled by a slightly thicker 3,500mAh battery.
In terms of connectivity, all smartphones come with dual SIM card slots, Bluetooth, GPS, Wi-Fi and 4G LTE with VoLTE.
