Samsung is gearing up to launch new smartphones in India, and the event is scheduled to take place on May 21 in Mumbai. Samsung has already sent media invites for the event, and the teaser hinted at smartphones featuring edge-to-edge Infinity Displays. Based on the leaks, we have fair idea about the devices that Samsung will be launching in India. Now, ahead of the launch, retail boxes of the Galaxy J6 and Galaxy A6+ have surfaced online, revealing the India pricing.
Photos of the leaked retail boxes were acquired by TheMobileIndian via a trusted source. Based on the leaked boxes, the Galaxy J6 will be priced at Rs 14,999, whereas the Galaxy A6+ will be priced at Rs 28,000. Now, the leaked pricing is Maximum Retail Price (MRP) and the official price will surely be a bit different, but it gives us a fair idea of what to expect from the new devices.
Samsung Galaxy J6 specifications and features
Sadly, the leaked boxes don’t reveal any specifications, but if we have to go by the rumors, the Galaxy J6 is expected to feature a 5.6-inch HD+ AMOLED display with 18.5:9 aspect ratio, and resolution of 720×1,480pixels. Under the hood, and Exynos 7870 SoC paired with 3GB / 4GB RAM options, and 32GB / 64GB storage options are expected.
In the photography department, a 13-megapixel rear camera, and an 8-megapixel front camera is likely to be in tow. With a 3,000mAh battery, the smartphone is expected to run Android 8.0 Oreo with Samsung Experience skin on top. Samsung is also expected to include Samsung Pay Mini with the smartphone.

Samsung Galaxy A6+ specifications and features
Talking about the Galaxy A6+, which has already been launched in some markets, it features a 6-inch Full HD+ display with a resolution of 2280×1080 pixels, and aspect ratio of 18.5:9. Powered by a Snapdragon 450 SoC, the smartphone is offered in 3GB RAM with 32GB storage and 4GB RAM with 64GB storage options.
The Galaxy A6+ comes with a dual-rear camera setup featuring a 16-megapixel primary sensor of aperture f/1.7, and a secondary 5-megapixel depth sensor of aperture f/1.9. The cameras let you add DSLR like bokeh effects to your photos. With 3,500mAh battery. The smartphone also comes with Dolby Atmos for an immersive audio experience. Samsung’s Bixby Suite such as Bixby Vision, Bixby Home, and Bixby Reminder are also a part of the package. Sadly, Bixby Voice is only reserved for flagship smartphones.
