The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 has been launched globally, and will also be going on sale in India in the coming days. One of the first sellers to announce availability of the upcoming flagship smartphone is Airtel, which will be selling the phone through its online store. Buyers can get the device on a down-payment of Rs 7,900, which is a small part of the Rs 67,900 price tag of the phone.
The Airtel Online Store will list the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 from August 11, with deliveries starting on August 22. In order to buy the phone, potential buyers will have to register for the device on the Airtel Online Store (airtel.in/onlinestore), check eligibility and get an instant loan approval, and then pay the down-payment. Once the device is delivered, it will be activated and enabled, giving users access to data and calling.
After the down-payment, customers will then have to pay Rs 2,999 as monthly instalments for the next 24 months, making the total cost of the device Rs 79,876. However, this includes the interest on the EMI payments, and also includes the monthly rental for the plan. Airtel is giving a plan that offers unlimited calls and 100GB of data per month on the phone, along with national roaming. The plan also includes a one-year subscription to Amazon Prime, and free access to Airtel TV, Wynk Music and Airtel Secure device protection, and is ordinarily offered at a rental of Rs 799 per month.
