By now, most of you must be aware that the new Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is expected to be unveiled on August 9 in New York. Samsung has officially teased that the smartphone will come with a bigger battery, more storage, and powerful hardware. Last year, the Galaxy Note 8 was initially available via Amazon India, Samsung e-store and offline retail stores. Later on, it was available via Flipkart and Paytm as well.
Now, if the latest Flipkart teaser is to be believed, the Galaxy Note 9 will be launched in India in the coming months, it appears that the smartphone will be sold online via the e-commerce site. On the Flipkart app under the mobile section, we spotted a banner which shows off the new S Pen that Samsung recently teased in its official invite.
The banner just shows August 9 unveiling date which we already are aware of. Upon tapping on the “Know More” link takes us to a microsite with the “notify me” button. The page also has three official teaser videos that highlight the storage, battery, and powerful hardware – the upgrades that we are widely expecting to see on the Galaxy Note 9.
Talking about the specifications, leaks reveal that the smartphone will come with a 6.3-inch QHD+ display with 18.5:9 aspect ratio, and it will be powered by Exynos 9810 or Snapdragon 845 SoC, which will be region specific. The smartphone could sport up to 8GB of RAM and 512GB onboard storage.
The S Pen is also likely to get the biggest upgrades in years. It is expected to be Bluetooth enabled and allow you to remotely unlock the device, play pause music, and also use it as a shutter to click photos. That’s not all, the dual-aperture dual cameras are also expected on the Galaxy Note 9, along with a massive 4,000mAh battery. How many of these rumored features make it to the Galaxy Note 9 we will only come to know when it is officially unveiled on August 9. Till then, stay tuned.
