Samsung Galaxy Note 9 launch event livestream
Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is all set to launch today at Galaxy Unpacked event in New York at 8:30PM IST (11:00AM NY Local Time). Ahead of the launch, a lot of information related to the Galaxy Note 9 has already leaked. The leaked information and rumors so far indicate that the Galaxy Note 9 will be identical to its predecessor and offer improved hardware and features. One of the most talked about features of the Galaxy Note 9 is expected to be the updated S Pen, which might arrive in a wide array of colors.

Oppo F9 Pro India launch on August 21
The Oppo F9 Pro will be launched in India on August 21, with Oppo sending out invites to the launch event. Oppo has already teased VOOC Flash Charge, the ‘waterdrop’ notch design, the gradient colored back and the dual-camera setup for the Oppo F9 Pro in India. The phone is the successor to the Oppo F7, which was launched just a few months ago in April.
Xiaomi Mi A2 pre-order started from today
Yesterday, Xiaomi launched its second Android One smartphone Xiaomi Mi A2 in India at a starting price of Rs 16,999. You can reserve one for yourself starting today as pre-orders have already kick-started from 12:00PM. It can be pre-booked from either Amazon India or mi.com. Xiaomi will start deliveries to those who pre-order the smartphone from August 12. The first flash sale of the Mi A2 is scheduled to take place on August 16.
‘Flipkart Supermart’ online grocery store launched
Indian e-commerce giant Flipkart announced the launch of a new service “Flipkart Supermart” online grocery store. It will be currently available in Bengaluru only. Flipkart is planning to expand this new service to “5-6 major cities” by the end of 2018. Interested consumers can access “Flipkart Supermart” through any of the existing platforms including apps for iOS, Android, mobile website or even desktop. The service is basically to rival AmazonPantry by Amazon India.
The company claims that this new service has been “built from scratch” to ensure that all the grocery-specific needs of the user are addressed.
Google Pixel 3 unboxing, hands-on video leaked
Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL, the next-generation Pixel smartphones are expected to launch in October. The leaks so far have indicated that the third-generation Pixel smartphones will be officially announced on October 4. Now, the production variant of the smartphone has appeared in a hands-on video. The video shows a retail box being opened, and the accessories that will come bundled with Google’s flagship smartphone.
Xiaomi ‘Independence Day Sale’ goes live with offers
Xiaomi is also celebrating India’s 72nd Independence Day with its own ‘Independence Day Sale’ on mi.com. The sale is already live, and will continue till August 12. For now, there are three devices – Mi MIX 2, Mi Max 2 and Mi Band 2 – that have been up for sale with a price drop.
Consumers looking to purchase a fitness band can buy the Xiaomi Mi Band 2 at a lower price during this period. The Mi Band 2 after a price drop of Rs 200 is now available for Rs 1,599, instead of Rs 1,799. Xiaomi is also offering additional Rs 150 cashback on paying through Paytm Wallet.
