Samsung is set to launch the Galaxy Note 9, its flagship smartphone with S Pen at an event in New York tomorrow. The launch event is scheduled to start at 8.30PM IST and Samsung is already hyping it to bring major boost in performance and productivity.
Ahead of its launch tomorrow, we have already seen a number of leaks that depict what Samsung has in store for all the Galaxy Note aficionado this year. Now, a new leak from WinFuture gives us another close look at the upcoming smartphone. It is now very much clear that Galaxy Note 9 will not be much different from its predecessor in terms of design. The pictures shared by Slashleaks hints that the Galaxy Note 9 will sport a 6.3-inch or 6.4-inch Quad HD+ Super AMOLED display like its predecessor.
It will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC in the US and China while all other markets will get models powered by Samsung’s own Exynos 9810 SoC. It is expected to start with 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage but there is also possibility of a model with 8GB RAM and 512GB storage. While the specifications may not sound great, Samsung is reportedly including carbon fiber heat pipe to make the smartphone effective for gaming and offer smoother performance.
On the camera front, the Galaxy Note 9 will feature horizontally stacked dual rear camera setup. It is expected to be the same dual 12-megapixel cameras with variable aperture seen on the Galaxy S9+. The leaks so far indicate that Samsung will follow on the footsteps of its rival Huawei to include AI features like scene detection and automatic tuning of the camera.
