Refreshing its On series, Samsung is now ready to launch the Galaxy On7 Prime smartphone in India. After it was reported last week about the smartphone going on sale in India in the second week of January, the Galaxy On7 Prime has now been listed on Amazon India.
While details like the price and day of launch, are still concealed, the listing does reveal a bunch of significant details. According to the listing on Amazon India, the Samsung Galaxy On7 Prime will feature a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) screen. It will be powered by a 1.6GHz octa-core Exynos 7870 processor. The smartphone will come in two variants, one with 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage, and another with 4GB of RAM and 64GB built-in storage. The storage will be expandable up to 256GB via microSD cards.
For photography, the Galaxy On7 Prime will sport 13-megapixel cameras with f/1.9 aperture on the front and back, with the rear one accompanied with an LED flash. Galaxy On7 Prime will support Samsung Pay Mini for mobile payments. It has a hardware-based home button below the display, flanked by capacitive buttons on the sides.
Since the launch or sale details are yet to be revealed, users can sign up/in on Amazon India, and select the Notify Me button, to get notifications and information about the smartphone.
Although, Samsung has not put official word out, the company is holding an event in New Delhi on Wednesday January 10. It could possibly announce details about the Galaxy On7 Prime during this event. Stay tuned to our coverage for more information on this.
