The Samsung Galaxy S 4 is now unofficially available for pre-order with an online retailer for Rs 59,990. The listing states that the device will be shipped in 45 days, which indicates either an early May India launch or basically, the retailer plans on importing the device from abroad as it is scheduled be launched in April end.
The listing in particular states that the model is the 16GB model, which makes it even more expensive than the 16GB version of the iPhone 5 and the price actually matches the price of 64GB version of the iPhone 5.
According to the listing the product is available in both colors – Black Mist and Frosty White, and the retailer is also offering a three month EMI scheme for Rs 19,997. We recommend users from staying away from this as Samsung is most likely to launch the Galaxy S 4 in India by April-end and it certainly will be priced considerably lower than what the online retailer is asking.
As you may already know, the Galaxy S 4 features a 5-inch Super AMOLED display with a 1080p resolution, an Exynos Octa 5 processor clocked at 1.6GHz, 2GB of RAM, a microSD card slot, a 13-megapixel rear camera, a 2.1-megapixel front facing camera, a 2,600-mAh battery and 16/32/64 memory variants. Additionally, it features a gamut of new software features and runs on the latest version of Android 4.2.2.
