Samsung Galaxy S4 Black Edition available in India for Rs 30,000

The Samsung Galaxy S4 Black Edition, announced earlier this year, is now available in India at the same price as the Galaxy S4 — Rs 30,000. The Black Edition was announced earlier this year as a part of the company’s strategy to spam users with different variants of a device.

To recap, the Galaxy S4 Black edition is essentially the Galaxy S4, but with a black colored pleather back and a UI that follow the same “black” theme.

As far as the specifications are concerned, they are the same as the Galaxy S4, which means it flaunts a 5-inch full HD (1920×1080 pixels) Super AMOLED display with a pixel density of 441ppi. It is powered by an Exynos 5 Octa 5410 processor (quad-core 1.6GHz A15 and a quad-core 1.2GHz A7 processors) paired with 2GB of RAM.

Also included is a 13-megapixel rear camera, 2-megapixel front camera, 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 32GB using a microSD card, 2,600mAh battery and on the software front it now runs on Android KitKat wrapped under the Black themed TouchWiz UI.
