And here’s yet another leak. Adding to the tall stack of rumors and leaks of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ is another render that comes from an alleged case maker. Accessories manufacturer, Ghostek, has shared renders of the smartphones, and is apparently already taking orders for its rugged shockproof cases.

As the renders hint, the design remains ditto to what we have been seeing in the previous leaks. We see it has an Infinity Display, which looks like it remains at 18.5:9 ratio, with the bezels on top and bottom getting a little bit thinner, as compared to those on the Galaxy S8. A Bixby button will keep company to the volume rocker on the left with the power button staying on the right side.

Again as per previous rumors, and follow the new Galaxy A8 (2018) design, we see that the Galaxy S9 render also shows a fingerprint scanner on the back, sitting under the camera. However, from what it shows, the camera may protrude a bit, unlike the flat back in the Galaxy S8.

Further, we see, Samsung retaining the 3.5 mm audio jack on the Galaxy S9. It will be next to the USB-C and the speaker. Although Ghostek has a case only for the smaller phone, the competition already revealed that the Galaxy S9+ will come with a vertical dual-cam setup.

From what we have known so far, the Samsung Galaxy S9 and the Galaxy S9+ could sport 5.8-inch and 6.2-inch edge-to-edge Super AMOLED “Infinity Display” respectively. Under the hood, both smartphones are likely to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC or Exynos 9810 SoC, which will be market dependent.

Rumors also hint that while the Galaxy S9 could feature 4GB of RAM, the Galaxy S9+ could include 6GB of RAM. Also, both smartphones are likely to retain water and dust resistance capabilities, 3.5mm audio jack, and wireless charging features. On the software front, both smartphones are likely to run Android 8.0 Oreo wrapped under Samsung’s custom UI.
