Samsung to announce 5.8-inch dual-SIM Android smartphone at MWC

Only a couple of hours ago we reported that Samsung is going to unveil a 8-inch version of its Galaxy Note tablet at MWC, now the folks at SamMobile are at it again and they are reporting that the company will also launch a 5.8-inch dual-SIM phablet of sorts that will be based on the Galaxy Player called the Galaxy Fonblet.

The report states that the main difference between the Galaxy Player 5.8 and this phablet will have support for cellular networks with the device having dual-SIM capabilities. The device will be available in Pure White and will run on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

As far as the specs of the Galaxy Player 5.8 are concerned then we are talking about a device that has a 5.8-inch TFT display with a qHD resolution, a 3-megapixel camera, 16/32 GB memory options, a 2,500 mAh battery and a microSD card slot all in an Android Ice Cream Sandwich package.
