Online retailer, Letsbuy, is claiming Sony’s latest portable gaming console, the PlayStation Vita, is launching in India on February 20. The Vita 3G+Wi-Fi version is priced at Rs 23,990 while the Wi-Fi-only variant gets a Rs 19,990 price tag. The PlayStation Vita features a 5-inch OLED display with multi-touch as well as dual joysticks. If Letsbuy indeed has its facts right, then India could get the Vita a couple of days before its official UK and US launch. However, what remains to be seen is whether consumers will bite the portable gaming console bait, especially at these prices considering most smartphones these days can give such consoles a good run for their worth.
