Sony PS4 Pro will be once again available for purchase across stores in India this week. The PS4 Pro was officially launched in India in February last year, but the device went out of retail shelves due to issues related to BIS clearance. However, the console will be available for purchase once again in the country and Gadgets360 reports that Sony has already started billing it to retailers and distributors.
The Sony PS4 Pro will be available for purchase once again from Amazon India, Flipkart and Games The Stop. It will also be available at major retail stores at a revised retail price. Sony and Microsoft have increased the price of their gaming consoles after the government increased customs duty from 10 percent to 20 percent during Union Budget 2018. The PS4 Pro will now retail at Rs 41,990, as opposed to its launch price of Rs 38,990.
However, those interested in Sony PS4 Pro might be get them at a discounted price since Sony is not planning to control the price that much this time around. The PS4 might be available for around Rs 40,000, a discount of four percent across online as well as offline retail channels. Sony India told Gadgets360 that Sony PS4 Pro will be “available across India beginning this weekend”.
Sony PS4 Pro is an upgrade over the standard PS4, and it brings support for 4K HDR display. The PS4 Pro features a 2.1GHz custom 8-core Jaguar CPU with AMD architecture and has a AMD Radeon GPU with support for 4.2 teraflops. It has 8GB GDDR5 memory, 1TB storage, and supports 4K and HDR.
