Sony ‘Sirius’ 2014 flagship Android smartphone tipped to be scheduled for MWC release

Sony was expected to announce its 2014 flagship Android smartphone codenamed Sirius at CES but instead the Japanese electronics giant unveiled the Xperia Z1S and Xperia Z1 Compact. Now prolific leaker with a proven track record, @evleaks, is claiming that Sony would launch it at next month’s Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona instead.

According to @evleaks, the Sirius will sport Qualcomm’s MSM8974AB SoC. Earlier leaks have suggested that the smartphone will have a 5.2-inch 2,560×1,440 pixels display, 3GB RAM, 20.7-megapixel rear camera with Sony’s G Lens, a 3,500mAh battery, 20.7-megapixel rear camera with Sony’s G Lens, a 3,500mAh battery and would probably run on Android 4.4 KitKat.
