Sony today announced it will be launching its SmartWatch accessory that can be paired with Android smartphones in India by the end of this month. Priced at Rs 6,299, the SmartWatch features a 1.3-inch multi-touch color OLED display. Users will be able to download certain customized apps for it from the Google Play store and access Twitter, Facebook and certain other apps directly on it rather than having to take out the smartphone. Of course, it lets users control music playing on the smartphone and get text message and call alerts. And it shows the time too!

We are not sure how easy it would be to read on such a tiny display but we have used the iPod Mini and know that such a form-factor can be pretty convincing. However, is the SmartWatch worth buying for Rs 6,299? Let is know in comments below.

      Thats pretty cool man.
Though one can get android phone for the same price but cant cant use it like a phone on his wrist. Come on man thats a comparision b/w a phone and an accesory.
They both occupy their own places. No comparision comes between them
