The Xperia E and the Xperia E dual were the two mid-range phones that Sony announced back in December and now they have finally gone on sale at online retail stores in India for Rs 9,990 and Rs 10,990 respectively.
As far as the specs are concerned, both the Xperia E and Xperia E dual flaunt a 3.5-inch display with a resolution of 320×480 pixels and are powered by a 1GHz Single-core Qualcomm MSM7227A Snapdragon processors and Adreno 200 GPUs. The phones also include features like 512MB of RAM, a 3.2-megapixel rear camera, VGA video recording, 4GB of internal memory, a microSD card slot with support for up to 32GB of memory and a 1,500 mAH battery.
The only differentiating factor between the phones is the OS, wherein the Xperia E ships with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean out of the box, and the Xperia E dual ships with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and is only labeled as upgradable to Jelly Bean.
The Xperia E is available in black, white and pink colors, while the Xperia E dual will be available in black and gold color variants and competes against the likes of Samsung S Duos.
