Sony Xperia J leaked in a document
Sony has been on a roll this year. It has released new smartphones under the Sony mobile banner thick and fast including the Xperia S, Xperia U, Xperia P and Xperia Sola. Today the folks at the Xperia Blog have unraveled another device called the Xperia J, which could hit China.
According to the report, the device was leaked via document that device is called the ST26i and would feature a 4-inch display with a resolution of 854×480 pixels and will feature a 1GHz single core processor which pegs it as a lower mid range device. Hopefully, it will come preloaded with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Currently, the final name of the device has not been finalized but the Xperia J name is more than likely.
The large screen size coupled with a single-core processor could make it an interesting smartphone and could possibly be priced below Xperia U, which currently retails around Rs 16,000. There are no Android smartphones from any top tier OEM with such a large display at that price point, which according to us, would be a brilliant strategy.
