Earlier this year, Sony had taken the wraps off the Xperia T2 Ultra phablet. Though the device is yet to be officially launched in the country, it is listed on Indian e-commerce websites for Rs 32,000. It was spotted by NDTV Gadgets.

As far as the specifications are concerned, the Xperia T2 Ultra flaunts a 6-inch HD (1280×720 pixels) Triluminous display with 2.5mm bezels and Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2 display technology. It runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and is powered by a Snapdragon 400 quad-core SoC clocked at 1.4GHz and paired with 1GB of RAM. Sony is also offering 8GB of internal storage that can be further expanded to 32GB using a microSD card.

On the photography front, the phablet features a 13-megapixel rear camera with Exmor sensor and supplemented by a 1.1-megapixel camera at the front. Other features include a 3,000mAh battery, which the company claims can survive up to 14 hours of talktime and 1,071 hours on standby mode and. Connectivity options include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and NFC. Though Sony also has a dual-SIM variant called the Xperia T2 Ultra dual, surprisingly, only the single-SIM variant was spotted online.

Priced at Rs 32,000, the Xperia T2 Ultra will be up against the likes of the Huawei Ascend Mate and the Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3, which offer similar set of specs and are also lighter on the pockets.
