The Sony Xperia XZ1 has been spotted again in two separate leaks revealing the smartphone in full glory. While one set of images reveal the smartphone from all angles, the other shows only the rear panel of the alleged Xperia XZ1 directly from its production line in China.

Let’s begin with the hands-on images of the alleged Xperia XZ1. At the front, the images show that the smartphone will come with thick bezel along the top and the bottom along with a selfie camera placed at the top left corner. The smartphone will sport a metal unibody design. The image reveals that the bottom bezel comes with a speaker grill placed right at the center. At the back, the smartphone has the circular camera module along with hybrid auto-focus and LED flash sensors. Here, it is worth noting that these images are in line with images leaked early today by Slashleaks that showed the rear panel of the device. Rest, the overall design of the smartphone looks very much like that of the Xperia XZ Premium with a rectangular frame and rounded edges.

From what we know so far, the most important highlight of Sony phones has been its camera. Carrying the same trend further, the Xperia XZ1 is also said to be a camera centric phone. The device might come with a 19-megapixel rear camera with Motion Eye feature and 960fps slow motion video recording capabilities. Up front, reports suggest that the smartphone will come with a 13-megapixel selfie snapper. Both the primary and secondary camera is expected to support Ultra High Definition or the 4K video recording. ALSO READ: Here are the Sony Xperia smartphones that will get Android O update

From the past leaks, the smartphone is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 835 SoC and flaunt a 5.2-inch HDR display. The device might also feature an IP65 or IP68 certificate for water and dust resistance. Apart from this, leaks also suggest that Sony Xperia XZ1 might also be among the first phones to run Android 8.0 out-of-the-box. As of now, Google has released Android O Developer Preview for beta testers and early adopters.

The Xperia XZ1 smartphone is further categorized in two model numbers – G8341 and G8342. As per a report, the company might also launch a dual SIM variant. The smartphone is expected to be unveiled at the IFA Berlin 2017 event in September.
