We spotted it earlier and today Spice has officially launched its new phablet, the Stellar Pinnacle Mi-530, featuring a 5.3-inch qHD IPS display. The dual-SIM Android smartphone comes with support for 3G+3G connectivity which is one of its catchy features apart from a 5.0-megapixel front facing camera with auto-focus, which we believe is a first of its kind. It runs on Android version 4.0 aka Ice Cream Sandwich, however it is upgradable to Jelly Bean. It also features a 1.2GHz dual-core processor.
On the camera front, the Stellar Pinnacle Mi 530 houses an 8.0-megapixel auto focus camera with modes like Panorama, Face beautification and continuous shots up to 16 pictures. The interesting part is that it dons a 5.0-megapixel auto-focus front camera, so clicking self-portrait shots would be relatively easy.
Apart from these the phablet features a 1GB RAM and 16GB ROM with an expandable memory of up to 32 GB through a microSD card, 2,550mAh Li-ion-Polymer battery, support for Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi. Other interesting features in the device include USB OTG, Pop-up play, Flip to Mute, Intelligent Answer, Direct Call, Gesture Screen Lock, Hi Connect, Boot Acceleration, Power Saving Mode and more. The device seems inspired by the Samsung Galaxy SIII as it carries features like Direct Call and Gesture Screen lock which come similar to those in the Galaxy SIII.
The Spice Stellar Pinnacle Mi-530 is available for Rs 13,999.
