Spice has added a new, stylus compatible phablet named the Pinnacle Stylus Mi-550 in its Pinnacle series of handsets to compete against the Micromax Canvas Doodle 2, Karbonn Titanium S9 and the likes in this segment. The phablet is not yet launched officially, but FoneArena spotted it selling for Rs 15,499 on an online retail store.
Talking about the specifications, the Spice Pinnacle Stylus Mi-550 comes with somewhat similar set of features as were seen on the Karbonn Titanium S9. So for instance, both the phablets come with a 5.5-inch (720p) HD display, run on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and are powered by a MediaTek quad-core processor cloaked at 1.2 GHz with 1GB of RAM. However, both the phablets vary when it comes to the internal memory and the camera specifications. The Spice Pinnacle Stylus Mi-550 comes with 8GB of internal memory while the Karbonn Titanium comes with 16GB of memory. It has an 8-megapixel auto focus rear camera with dual LED Flash and is capable of shooting 1080p full HD video. On the front comes a 2-megapixel camera.
Other features in the phablet include support for dual-SIM both of which are 3G compatible, stylus pen, microSD card, and other usual connectivity options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. It also has G-sensor, proximity, ambient light and gyro sensors. The phablet is available in Black color.
