Following Google’s recent announcement on Mirror API as well as the Collective program for app developers for its project Glass, a Twitter app for Glass have surfaced online. Techcrunch has noticed that an app developer Janothan Gottfried has spotted some random tweets highlighting ‘Twitter for Glass’ as the source device, which hints at an official Twitter app for Google Glass is under works.
The images with the client tag are spotted in the wild, and mention the #throughglass hashtag, which the Google has been using on images on the Google+ shared from the Glass. Also, AllThingsD is reporting that the developer Gottfried had earlier been spotted using the same hashtag for his GlassTweet project based on Twitter’s prototype for Glass, which he hacked a few days back. The report also stresses on the point that there are more of such tweets which have been posted by Google employees working on the Glass project, which further hint at an official Twitter app in the testing.
If this happens, users will probably be able to tweet using the voice commands feature. Also, who knows you might just see some gesture based features used for applications like Twitter as well.
